Author Guidelines
LetsBuild.org invites you to submit articles for publication on our Web site. We appreciate your interest in submitting an article to help us educate and empower our visitors. We do not pay for articles and there is no charge to submit an article.
Please read the following guidelines before submitting your work.
Article Guidelines
-
Your article should be newsworthy and relevant to the reader, and the information presented in a factual manner.
-
Your article should be at least 500 words long. Exceptions are considered on an individual basis.
-
Your title should not contain more than 200 characters.
-
Your article summary should be one to five sentences in length.
-
Your biographical information should not be too lengthy (we recommend two to six sentences).
-
The body of your article should not contain more than five links, and none of them should be blatantly self-promotional.
-
Your resource box should not contain more than three links.
-
Your article should be free of grammatical and spelling errors.
-
Your article should not read like an ad. Remember, write a news item, not an advertisement to promote your business or website. Sales pitches are not acceptable and will NOT be published.
-
Your article should stand on its own, i.e. it should not require the reader to click on a link to get to the main content.
-
Avoid too much hype in your resource box. The purpose of the resource box is not to sell your readers something, but to lead them to your website which does the actual selling.
By completing the article submission form, and whenever you submit an article to us, you are giving LetsBuild.org permission to publish your article on this website. We also reserve the right to make minor edits when deemed necessary for grammar and readability.
You will only be contacted by LetsBuild.org if your article is published. We do not reply upon receiving your article and we do not give a "status update" on article submissions. We keep articles on file for approximately one year for possible publication.
